This custom mother's / grandmother's family birthstone necklace is the perfect Mother's day or birthday gift. It is a variation of my original Circle of Love design.
The pendant is hand formed from wire. It is hammered to add texture, and then birthstones (4x2 mm genuine high quality faceted gemstones) of your choice are wrapped onto the circle frame, forming two little arcs. This arrangement gives the stones a sense of "separation". The stones at the top arc can represent grandparents or parents overlooking grandchildren's or children's stones. They can also represent miscarried babies, or any other special months or people.
The necklace comes with a delicate chain with your choice of a secure spring clasp or easy handmade hook clasp.All metal components are sterling silver or 14K gold filled. All birthstones used are untreated genuine natural gemstones.
Size & Stone arrangement
The default circle frame has a 3/4""(19mm) diameter. This will allow a maximum of 8 stones (with a 3-5 separation). If you need more stones, order the larger 1" here. When entering the stones and arrangement in the text box, please be sure to specify which stones you will need on the TOP ARC and BOTTOM ARC. For aesthetic reasons I recommend a maximum of 5 stones on either arc. The pendant will also look more balanced with more stones at the bottom and fewer at the top (as shown in the pictures). I recommend a maximum of 4 stones on the top arc.
If you only need 5 or less stones and prefer the smaller 5/8" pendant, specify in the text box.
